Kieran is well versed in the North East, having studied journalism at the University of Sunderland in 2002..
He inherited an interest in antiques from his father and studied furniture restoration under Ian Chaney at I M Chaney Antiques in Bristol. From there, he worked as an antiques dealer.
He moved into the auction world in 2019, starting as a porter at East Bristol Auctions, quickly moving to becoming a cataloguer, valuer and auctioneer for their main sales. He also visited client’s homes, advising them on collections and house contents.
His specialist areas include furniture, coins, ceramics, and glass.
He moved to Anderson and Garland in March 2023 and is looking forward to exploring the North East and the Scottish Borders.
