Our November Traditional & Decorative Art Auction includes the wonderful Collection of Works Relating to the Artist William Palmer Robins, from his paint splattered easel, to pictures created by Robins such as "Breezy Morning" in oil, and various aquatint views for which he is synonomous, together with other works gifted to Robins by his contemporaries. Our Fine Silver sale contains so many fine pieces that we’ve had to spread it over two days. With a total of 746 lots on offer, there will be something for every taste.
Amongst the lots are ten private collections of varying size, the most significant being a single owner trove of over 150 lots of Scottish provincial and colonial silver, collected over many years. The other collections include mustard pots, silver by Paul Storr, 60 scent bottles, many, many spoons, and Scottish snuff mulls.
Highlights from the rest of the sale include an extremely rare silver cream jug made in Bristol in 1735, a splendid golden enamel scent bottle and stand with royal association, Maltese silver, boxes and objects of vertu.

A great selection of Fine and Rare watches for you, and just in time (pun totally intended) for Christmas.
Rolex tops the bill as per usual with a rare bakelite bezelled GMT-Master (Lot 763), a fabulous Great White (Lot 761) in cracking condition, a gold Day-Date (Lot 760), and a lovely Submariner (Lot 759) in need of some TLC.
Omega, Zenith, and IWC all show an appearance; however, in my personal opinion, the Watch to Watch is the Jaeger LeCoultre (Lot 783) with a rare triple calendar and moon phase complication.
For the pocket watch collectors out there, look no further. My personal Auctioneer's Lot is the Thomas Grignion of Covent Garden (Lot 807), in a beautifully enamelled case fitted with a quarter-repeating movement. A rare chance to have a bid on a museum quality piece with an early complication.

Rare gemstones galore in this Fine Jewellery Auction. From Burmese Sapphires to Colombian Emeralds, there's something for everyone. For those of you with parties to go to, a fabulous Victorian tiara (Lot 975) could be yours, with five graduated stars, each detaching to become another piece of jewellery.
Those of you on the hunt for something the style of Taylor Swift's engagement ring, a 2.50carat Old European cut diamond ring (Lot 907) is up for auction.
My Auctioneers Lot this time round is a brilliant and fabulously rare automobile pattern brooch (Lot 887). As early cars became a status symbol for the affluent and trailblazers, these brooches acted as a way of showing the world at large you had your fingers on the pulse, even when you weren't moving at all of 5 miles per hour.
