We are pleased to present our Collectors Auction, comprising an impressive selection of vinyl records, music memorabilia, coins, stamps, costume and textiles, country sports equipment, militaria, toys and other collectibles.
Highlights include: A rare and exceptionally well-documented item headlines: a signed copy of the Beatles' American-only album Beatles '65, one of only two such copies known to survive, carrying an estimate of £20,000-40,000. The album's history is tied directly to the filming of the band's second feature film, Help!, in the Bahamas in February 1965. It was signed for BOAC air stewardess Angela Bass during the return flight to London, on which she spent considerable time in conversation with all four Beatles; three signed the reverse of the sleeve, while George Harrison chose to sign the front. The album has remained with the same family for sixty-one years and is now being consigned for sale by Mrs Bass's three sons.
Further highlights to include: an excellent collection of fishing tackle; 19th Century hand blown marbles; modern British ingot medallions and coins; and signed Ozzy Osbourne CDs and records.
If you have any similar items including collectibles, items of local historical or sporting interest, coins, militaria, books, musical instruments, comics, toys, memorabilia or ephemera, and are considering selling, don’t hesitate to get in touch and our specialists will be delighted to discuss including them in one of our upcoming auctions.

Following Parts One and Two of the Brian Whitton Collection - which together drew international attention and introduced new audiences to one of the most significant private collections of John Tunnard's work ever assembled - Anderson & Garland is proud to present the third and final chapter.
Part Three steps beyond Tunnard to reveal the full breadth of Brian's eye as a collector. Over decades of looking, acquiring, and living with art, Brian assembled a remarkable group of modern and contemporary works that reflect a sensibility both discerning and adventurous; the collection of a man who clearly understood Tunnard's restless curiosity because, in many ways, he shared it.
Whether you are a collector of modern British art, an admirer of mid-century abstraction, or simply someone who has followed the Whitton Collection from the beginning, Part Three offers a fitting and rewarding conclusion to an exceptional series of sales.
