We are delighted to bring to market this single-owner private collection of vinyl records: an eclectic assemblage spanning through many genres and eras, from original pressings of rare Reggae music, through 70’s punk, 80’s Electronica, 90’s Hip-Hop, Dub, Techno and Indie-Rock, through to modern Doom-Metal, Trip-Hop, Ambient, Experimental and Dubstep, with many others in-between including Classic Rock, Folk, Funk and Jazz, with almost half of the collection of approximately 15,000 LPs still sealed and unopened.
Highlights include some rare limited edition box sets, including Newcastle-Based ambient band ‘Zoviet France’ – a 17 LP box set limited to 400 hand-numbered copies, we have some rare Dubstep 12” singles, Afro-Funk from Nigeria, Trip-Hop from Massive Attack, Portishead, Tricky and Bjork, as well as more mainstream names such as Radiohead, PJ Harvey, Oasis, Gorillaz, Sonic Youth, Bob Marley, The Beatles, Primal Scream, Miles Davis and many others.
As well as individual LPs, and artist bundles, we also have some amazing mixed bundles of 5, 10, 20 and 40 LPs and 12” singles, featuring mixed artists and sort-after compilations in specific genres including Shoegaze Rock, Trip-Hop, Downtempo, Indie-Rock, Funk, Jazz, Soul, Leftfield, Ambient, modern Classical, Metal, Punk, Dub, Drum n Bass, Folk-Rock, Acoustic, Techno, and Industrial Noise, with many pressings from the US, UK, Japan, France, Germany, Jamaica, Africa, and elsewhere.
This is an amazing opportunity to add to your own collections, stock your record shops, or just to simply invest in rare records, many of which were created in such low numbers they very rarely come to auction, especially still factory sealed in Mint condition.
