A fine Victorian burr walnut Davenport, with pop-up stationary compartment fitted three short drawers and pigeon holes, decorated with pierced gilt metal balustrade, the scrolling and hinged flap opening to reveal a pull-out slide, with inset tooled leather cloth writing surface and two short drawers, fitted four short drawers to the side, raised on scrolling supports with bun feet, 22 x 22 1/4 x 37in. (56 x 56.5 x 94cms) high.
