† A mahogany pedestal desk, by Druce & Co., Baker Street, London, with inset leather writing surface (now distressed), the edge with carved flowerheads and ribbons, fitted an arrangement of nine short drawers surrounding the kneehole, all fitted moulded brass handles, raised on plinth bases, 58 x 32 x 30in. high.
