A French boulle work pier cabinet of serpentine form, the white carrera marble top supported by gilt metal mounts with central panel door opening to reveal a mahogany lined interior with two shelves, the front extensively inlaid with boulle work on a red tortoiseshell ground, fitted with gilt metal caryatids, raised on a shaped apron with scrolling feet mounted with gilt metal sabots, 44 x 17 x 43in. high.
