A fine George I walnut bureau, the top and rectangular fall-flap decorated with inlaid chevron banding, the flap with crossbanding and opening to reveal an inset leather writing surface, pigeon holes, short drawers and a cupboard, two short and three long graduated drawers under fitted brass handles and escutcheons, also decorated with inlaid chevron banding, raised on bracket feet, 36 x 20 x 38in. high.
