A light baluster goblet of the 'Friendship' type, the bell bowl engraved with clasped hands within an elaborate crowned cartouche with the inscription ''AMITIE'', the reverse with a flower - possibly a forget-me-not, the stem is multi-knopped with a beaded knop, a knop over an inverted knop and basal knop on a conical foot, c.1765, height 22cms.
