Stumpff, the main column with caryatid and classical capital above fluted tapering stem and acanthus base, the brass-mounted scroll inscribed ''Patent Harp Invented by J.A. Stumpff, London No. 44 Great Portland Street, Portland Place, maker to his Majesty the King of Great Britain & C.'', the satinwood soundboard decorated in penwork with floral motifs, lyres, birds, urns and cherubs, the gilt foot with hippocampus and anthemion decoration, 67in. (170cms) high.
