Ralph Hedley, RBA (1848-1913) TWO CUSTOMERS LEAVING THE STONE CELLARS PUB AT EVENING signed and dated 1903 oil on canvas 45 x 34.5cms; 17 3/4 x 15 1/2in. NB The Stone(s) Cellars was a well known public house formerly on the banks of the Ouseburn frequented by Ralph Hedley and used by him as a background for a larger and earlier work ''Weary Waiting'', first exhibited at the Bewick Club, Newcastle, in 1894.
