Fred Roe, RI (1864-1947) ''THE GOTHS IN ROME'' signed, inscribed with title and dated '89; with inscription on a label verso monochrome watercolour wash on tinted paper heightened with white 62.5 x 44cms; 24 3/8 x 17 1/4in. PROVENANCE Sold by direction of a descendant of the Artist. NB According to the label on the back of this picture this was the first work (unpublished) which the Artist employed a female model.
