An early 19th Century Austrian style repeating flask-butt air rifle, by Staudenmayer, London, the 25 1/4in. .45 cal. octagonal rifled barrel inscribed in gold with maker's name to the breech, inlaid gold star motif above the tap loader, twenty shot magazine under with brass ramrod, cover plate with bypass lever missing and locking slide for flask-butt, a serpentine cocking piece with roller, further maker's inscription under the spring, with steel trigger guard and conical flask butt with original leather covering, c.1810, 42in. long overall.
