Northern, Modern & Contemporary Art Auction
Our December Northern, Modern & Contemporary Art Auction has a wide range of work available, including over 50 lots of Northern and Mining interest. These are mostly mid-20th Century works depicting the landscape and workforce of the North. Some of the artists included are Richard Hobson, Tom Dack, Ron Gribbons, Tisa Hess and Tom McGuinness.
Following this, we present a varied selection of paintings, featuring local artist Antoni Sulek, as well as the Polish-British artist Josef Herman and a beautiful contemporary landscape study by Ann Oram.
There are also four lots by Charlie Rogers, all of local interest, depicting the Bigg Market, Grainger Market and a wonderful group of sketchbook studies.
