The Miners Auction
Our Miners Auction offers an excellent selection of miners' and pit lamps from various makers, including Davis of Derby, Hailwood and Ackroyd, W. E. Teale & Co, Johnson Clapham and Morris, and The Wolf Safety Lamp Co.
We also have a range of mining and pit ephemera, equipment, books and prints including mining and union related pin badges from Nottingham, Northumberland and others. Alongside these pin badges, we have a large quantity of pit check tokens/tallies from Cresswell, Baddesley, Arkwright Colliery and many others. Finally, we also have an etching from Tom McGuiness titled “Miners Entering The Cage”.
This sale is guaranteed to hold something to entice collectors and mining enthusiasts. Our viewing will take place on Monday 9th December from 10am-3pm. We hope to see you there!
