Our Fine Silver sale contains so many fine pieces that we’ve had to spread it over two days. With a total of 746 lots on offer, there will be something for every taste.
Amongst the lots are ten private collections of varying size, the most significant being a single owner trove of over 150 lots of Scottish provincial and colonial silver, collected over many years. The other collections include mustard pots, silver by Paul Storr, 60 scent bottles, many, many spoons, and Scottish snuff mulls.
Highlights from the rest of the sale include an extremely rare silver cream jug made in Bristol in 1735, a splendid golden enamel scent bottle and stand with royal association, Maltese silver, boxes and objects of vertu.
