A late 19th Century Chinese lacquer game box, gilt with leaf decoration, fitted five interior loose boxes, each lid with ''M'' below coronet, holding matching mother-of-pearl gaming counters, to include: nine engraved with '50', 2 1/2in. (6cms) long; thirty-three oval, engraved with numbers 5, 10 and 20 to each 2 1/4in. (5cms); seventeen circular, 1 1/4in. (3cms); sixty rectangular, 2 1/2in. (6cms) wide; and two rectangular, 1 1/2in. (4cms) wide; and various other mother-of-pearl gaming counters, box 11 x 10in. (28 x 25cms) (missing lid).
