A handsome mahogany longcase clock, c.1900, with silvered roman chapter ring and subsidiary seconds dial, chime/silent and Whittington chimes/Westminster chimes dials to arch, three train quarter striking movement with deadbeat escapement striking on one coiled gong and eight tubular bells, fretwork sound board to rear, three graduated brass cased weights, the case with swan neck pediment with brass finial, arched glazed door below flanked by two pairs of fluted columns with brass detail, arched waist door flanked by fluted quadrants, panelled base with bracket feet, 97in. high.
