Manner of Sir James Thornhill: an 18th Century three glass overmantel mirror, surmounted by an oil painting on canvas depicting an allegorical scene with cherubs and semi nude male and female figures, centred by Neptune sitting on a shell pattern chariot, the bevelled serpentine mirror panels below all within moulded gilt frames decorated with scrolls, honeysuckle motifs and trellis patterns, 60 x 65in. high.
