A Victorian ebony and giltmetal mounted credenza, inlaid throughout with amboyna banding and boxwood stringing, the frieze decorated with walnut arches, central Jasperware rectangular plaque depicting cherubs and bust pattern roundels, above a pair of central panel doors each decorated with anthemion leaf and scrolling design above Jasperware plaque of classical female figures, within frames of ribbon bows and swags, opening to reveal red velvet lined interior, flanked by mirror backed three tier alcoves within serpentine glazed sides, separated by corinthian columns, raised on a cut-away plinth base, 72 x 19 1/2 x 42in. high.
