John Falconar Slater (1857-1937) ''A TRIBUTE TO MONET (OR AN OLD WHITLEY FARMYARD)'' signed oil 91.5 x 122cms; 36 x 48in. NB Research by Slater expert Marshal Hall in connection with his forthcoming biography ''Slater the Weatherproof Artist'', has established that this work forms part of a series of oils which the Artist painted following Monet's death in 1926 (Anderson & Garland sold another in the series in 2006, titled ''A back road to Giverny'', which was similarly a 'Monet Tribute' work.
