A William IV three-piece tea service with similar coffee pot, by John Wilmin Fig, London 1837/38, each of fluted ovoid form, with chased and embossed foliate designs, the teapot and coffee pot with hinged covers, flowerhead and leaf finials, naturalistic acanthus wrapped handles, each on spreading circular foot, height of teapot 6 3/4in. (17cms), height of coffee pot 9 3/4in. (25cms), 77.4oz. approximately gross.
