A 19th Century American sterling standard silver ice bowl, by Gorham Manufacturing Company, Providence, circa 1870, modelled as an iceberg, cast with icicles and chased with textured frost, mounted by two snarling polar bears to each handle, set on a conforming base, stamped to underside with makers marks and 'Sterling 925', 10 1/2in.
