An impressive six piece Chinese 900 standard silver tea service, by Wang Hing, Hong Kong, to include: salver; tea pot; coffee pot; kettle on stand (missing burner); sugar bowl and cream jug; the salver of shaped circular form with acorn motifs to the edge and dragons amongst clouds to inner rim, the centre engraved with birds including quails and fabulous birds amongst prunus trees in blossom, raised on three scrolling feet, marked 'WH90' and character mark; the other items similarly decorated with branch pattern finials and handles, bamboo rims, the bodies with storks, fabulous and other birds amongst prunus blossom and chrysanthemums, the spouts also decorated, each with mark to base 'WANGHING90' and character mark; three original fitted and lined travelling cases for all but the salver, each with brass handles to the tops and wax seals. Teapot: 5in. (13cms) high, 8 1/2in. (22cms) spout to handle, 17.9oz gross. Sugar bowl: 3 3/4in. (9.5cms) high, 6in. (15cms) handle to handle, 6.5oz. Cream jug: 3 3/4in. (9.5cms) high, 4 3/4in. (12cms) spout to handle, 5.2oz. Kettle on stand: 10 1/2in. (27cms) high, 8in. (20cms) spout to back, 27.2oz gross. Coffee pot: 6 3/4in. (17cms) high, 8 1/2in. (22cms) spout to handle, 19.2oz gross. Salver: 19 3/4in. (50cms) diameter, 90oz.
