Books & Manuscripts Auctions

Anderson and Garland Auctioneers hold book auctions throughout the year, which include Manuscripts, Antiquarian Books, Modern First Edition Books and Maps. More general books are sold in our fortnightly Town and County Auctions.

Our book specialist, John Anderson, together with consultant, Charlotte Brown, have advised, catalogued and sold a number of important book collections at auction.

Whilst the majority of all books that we see are not especially valuable or rare, there are always notable exceptions and we are happy to advise clients on their collections or libraries, with a view to future sale possibilities.

If you are considering entering books or manuscripts into auction or require a free valuation, please contact us.
