Recent Newcastle Musical Instruments Auction a smash hit

Over 350 lots of musical instruments, hi-fi and vinyl were sold at auction in our latest Musical Instruments Auction. High prices were gained for many of the guitars, string instruments, brass, hi-fi equipment and more on the 24th September 2019.

 

We frequently hold Musical Instruments Auctions and include instruments in many of our other regular Town and County Auctions and Fine Art Auctions.

Anderson and Garland pride ourselves on achieving strong prices for a broad range of antiques and collectables in our Musical Instruments Auctions, including concertinas, violins and cellos, pianos, all woodwinds, brass and percussion instruments.

 

 

Here are some of the highlights from the September Musical Instruments Auction:

 

A rare Italian 1960's Wandre Spazial electric guitar, sold for £3,200.

A Lachenal 48 button new model English system concertina, sold for £880.

 

 

A Continental violin after Antonio Stradivari, sold for £1,300.

 

Mittenwald Cello, sold for £1,400 in the Musical Instruments Auction.

 

 

A Jean Larrivee Limited edition number 8 of 30, 2006 D-10 BP acoustic guitar, sold at auction for £1,800.

 

 

 

Deering John Hartford G five string banjo, sold for £1,300.

 

 

A1972 Marshall 1930 JMP popular 1x12 Combo 10 watt guitar amplifier, sold for £920.

 

 

A Gibson ES335 TD guitar, sold for £2,800.

 

 

A Yamaha YTS 62 tenor saxophone, sold for £800.
