The Christmas Country House & Fine Interiors Auction is the highlight of our winter sales schedule. As ever, this two-day spectacular auction was bursting with fine Glass, Ceramics and Asian Art. Below are some of the highlights of the ceramics section.

A Chinese blue and white dragon dish, Qing, decorated with a central dragon chasing a flaming pearl within cloud scroll, the border with two further dragons, all on a blue ground.

 Chinese carved jade roundel, pierced and carved with carp and water lilies, the pale green stone with rust inclusions.

A Large Meissen Ewer emblematic of water, circa 1860, after an original by J J Kandler, applied with Neptune, mermaid, hippocampi, and dolphins, painted with galleons at sea, the waisted neck painted with insects, reed moulded handle and base, cancelled crossed swords mark in blue.

A Modern Royal Worcester fruit painted teapot and cover, decorated by D.Fuller with peaches, cherries, blackberries and apple, signed, black printed mark including 'Hand Painted Fruit Study.

A pair of 19th Century Staffordshire flatback advertising figures 'MILK SOLD HERE', each in the form of a cow spill holder picked out in iron-red and gilt, with thistle-painted stump supports, the bases moulded and painted with 'MILK SOLD HERE',
