We are the leading specialist Valuers and Auctioneers of watches in the North of England. Our Watch Department sells a broad range of antique, vintage and modern watches. Recent highlights include a rare Rolex Submariner wristwatch sold for £86,000 (a new world record) discovered during a house clearance in Whitley Bay.
At our state-of-the-art 20,000 sq ft salerooms, conveniently situated just 2 minutes off the A1 in Newcastle, we hold three specialist watch auctions per year. We also sell watches in other auctions throughout the year.
We offer a wide range of vintage, military and luxury wristwatches by well known makers including Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Breitling, Cartier, Franck Muller, Hublot, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Omega, Patek Philippe, Tag Heuer, Longines and many others.
We also sell a wide range of silver and gold pocket watches from the 17th Century through to the 20th century.
Live internet bidding, social media marketing, targeted advertising and mailing lists ensure that we attract buyers from across the globe. Carefully researched, fully illustrated catalogues are mailed to our large database of specialist dealers, collectors and enthusiasts.
If you wish to enquire about selling, we offer free, friendly and professional pre-sale selling advice and valuations, at our offices Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and selected Saturday mornings. Single items through to whole collections are welcome. Please call us on 0191 430 3000 to book an appointment. Alternatively, fill out our online valuation request form below and we will reply to you, usually within 48 hours.
Remember, selling at auction is always the best way to realise the true value of your watches. Please be wary of individuals who recommend that you don't sell at auction, but instead, steer you towards selling privately, for a fixed price, to 'awaiting buyers/collector's'. They themselves are often the ones actually buying the items from you, at a less than generous price, to sell on for a large profit.
