A collection of ephemera relating to Lieut-General Horatio Harbord Morant, 68th Light Infantry, to include: Statement of Service, letters of reference and character from various influential sources including The Earl of Longford, Lord William Paulet and many others; six diaries including his time in Crimea and New Zealand, dates 1852-4, 1874 and 1876; two photographs of him in full dress uniform; two fliers, one Durham County Review 1873, and the other Volunteer Field Day 1874, both held at Lumley Park.
