Early North East Motor Club interest: five 9ct yellow gold medals, for the Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland and District Motor Club, to include: Hill climb 29th April 1922, fastest time of the day, Sunderland and District; Presidents Trial 1922, Newcastle and District; Travers Open Trial 1925, Sunderland and District; Travers Open Speed Trial 1926, Newcastle and District; and Travers Open Trial 1923, Newcastle and District, all won by F. Turvey Junior and soldered into a bracelet; together with a loose 9ct yellow gold fob pendant, inscribed ''Hill climb 1912, F. Turvey fastest time'', bracelet 20cms (8in.) long, fob 3.5cms (1 1/2in.) high, 49.5grms gross. PROVENANCE Sold by a member of the family.
