William Clarke, London: an 18th Century walnut and banded longcase clock, the brass dial with silvered roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and strike/silent lever, gilt, mask and scroll handles, with moon phase and nameplate to arch, two-train movement with part dismantled anchor escapement, the case with later caddy top, blind fretwork frieze above an arched glazed door flanked by turned columns, arched banded waist door, panel base on plinth style support, 102in. high.
