An embossed silver jug, converted from a George I silver tankard, bears hallmarks for London 1725, later conversion hallmarks on spout and foot for Henry Holland, London 1872, profusely decorated with forest scene of figures outside an inn, domed cover with chair-back thumbpiece, scroll handles and spreading domed foot, 8in. (20.5cms), 32oz.
