A French silver covered goblet, probably 19th Century, the cover decorated with hounds and quarry in a woodland, the finial of a huntsman blowing a horn, the goblet bowl with leaf design and wreath below flared rim, the main the Diana, Goddess of hunting in a carriage being drawn by stags and attended by huntsmen, cherubs, hounds and others, the stem with two stags' heads, the base decorated with design to match lid, 16 1/2in. (42cms) high, 28oz.
