Edwards & Roberts, London: a late 19th Century mahogany bureau, the fall-flap inlaid with herringbone stringing and boxwood banding, opening to reveal satinwood and other specimen wood interior of pigeon holes, drawers and central cupboard door, the frieze fitted two drawers, one stamped 'Edwards & Roberts', each mounted with lacquered brass feather scroll drop handles, a pair of panel doors under enclosing three folio slides, raised on cut-away plinth base, 44 x 23 1/2 x 43 1/2in. high.
