A late 17th Century British plug bayonet, the 12 1/2in. (32cms) broad double-edged blade engraved on both sides, one side badly worn, the other with an Ottoman soldier holding a sword above scrolls, the hilt with brass quillons each terminating in cast busts of helmeted soldiers, repeated design to pommel, the grip of turned wood with beaded design, 18 1/2in.
