An early 19th Century inlaid mahogany longcase clock, the painted roman dial signed in the arch Thos. Arlott, Sunderland, with arabic outer dial, subsidiary seconds and date dials, two train movement with anchor escapement, the case with cavetto cornice above a frieze inlaid with shell motifs, glazed arched door flanked by fluted and gilt metal columns, arched waist door centred by an inlaid shell motif, canted corners, canted panel base also inlaid shell motif, with bracket feet, 87 1/2in. high.
