A set of four Regency rosewood dining chairs, attributed to 'Gillows of Lancaster', the plain cresting rails above canework Trafalgar seats, complete with loose cushions, raised on turned and reeded tapering legs, three chairs carved with initials 'P.P.' to the underside. NB A journeyman using the initials 'P.P.' is known to have worked at Gillows c.1810-20, although these chairs are probably slightly later.
