PROVENANCE Moss Galleries, Brampton (bearing gallery label verso). NB Mr. Armorer Donkin acquired a property in Jesmond Dene, Newcastle, in 1826 and built the mansion ''Jesmond Park'' there. He was an important lawyer who died in 1851.
