Ronald Chipchase (1931-2011) A collection of drawings and watercolours - topographical, architectural and figural, various sizes, unframed, in two portfolios; together with the Artist's briefcase. (qty) NB Chipchase, affectionately known as 'Chippy' to family and friends, was the architect commissioned by Sir John Hall to design the Gateshead Metro Centre. Other commercial and domestic commissions include his 1970's private house ''Falling Water, Nr. Jesmond Dene, Newcastle, for Freddie Shepherd.
