An early 20th Century Italian flying club gold medal, awarded to WWI Belgian flying ace Jean Olieslagers, the face depicting the Angel of Victory, flanked by two planes with Italy below, the reverse inscribed 'Aero Club d'Italia a Jean Olieslagers 1919', stamped '750', 3cms (1 3/4in.) diameter.
