A pair of large engraved rummers, the bucket-shaped bowls cut with oval portraits of the Earl of Chatham and William Pitt, each portrait surrounded by rose, thistle and oak leaf sprays opposite a leaf and berry cartouche ''William Pitt 1759-1806'' and ''The Earl of Chatham 1771'', raised on knopped stems, 9 1/4in. (23.5cms) high. PROVENANCE Miss D.S. Morant Deceased.
