A blue and white baluster vase, finely decorated in Kangxi style, but later, painted with a man on horseback followed by an attendant through a rocky gorge with a pine tree and two maidens in conversation, the verso painted with Liu Hai and his three-legged toad, four character mark of Xuande to base. 18in. (46cms) high, cracked and with portion of neck re-glued.
