An Indo-Persian khanjar, Qajar Dynasty, the 15in. (38cms) ridged watered blade decorated with Persian text and motifs in koftgari, the hilt (probably later replacement) of ebony with bone terminals and bone and white metal inlay, the leather scabbard mounted at both ends with embossed white metal chased with foliage.
