A British Artillery sword bayonet, 1879 pattern, the blade with saw back, on hilt of bow guard and chequer cut grip, 26in. (66cms) long (missing sword tip); together with a French chassepot rifle bayonet, circa 1866, the single-edged shaped blade above steel hook quillon and brass grip, 70cms (27 1/2in.) long overall (no scabbard); another with scabbard; and a socket bayonet with cruciform blade, 20in.
