An early 18th Century percussion pistol, by Thomas Parsons, Salisbury, the 32 bore octagonal barrel above swivel ramrod, the lockplate, nameplate and barrel engraved with foliate scrolls, fitted belt hook, chequer cut grip terminating in reeded domed pommel, 8in. (20cms) long. See illustration
