A 19th Century 16-bore percussion fowling gun, the 57in. (145cms) barrel with steel ramrod below, firing mechanism converted from flintlock with a barrel and nipple fitting, lockplate indistinctly stamped, upper but inset with shaped brass cartouche engraved with crest, brass butt cap to end, 72 1/2in. (185cms) overall.
