Tickle, Newcastle: an early 19th Century oak longcase clock, the arched white painted dial with date aperture and subsidiary seconds dial, decorated with flowers to the arch and spandrels, fitted eight day movement with anchor escapement striking on a single bell, the plain case with arched glazed panel door flanked by turned pilasters, further arch panel door to the trunk, raised on bracket feet, 19 3/4 x 82in. high.
